Fans attending the Cardinals-Texans game at University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday should expect a higher volume of traffic due to a variety of other events taking place this weekend.
Fans are encouraged to give themselves extra time when traveling to University of Phoenix Stadium for the game.
Those heading to the Cardinals game should be aware of the following traffic and parking details.
- In the morning, traffic on the I-10 freeway is expected to be heavier due to the events at Phoenix International Raceway.
- All Cardinals parking areas will open at 10:00 AM on Sunday. Stadium gates will open at 12:45 PM.
- For those arriving early, be sure to check out the Pre-Flight Party at the Westgate Entertainment District (open at11:00 AM) or the Flight Deck on the plaza outside of University of Phoenix Stadium (open at 10:45 AM.)
- After the game, the I-10 freeway will be again be busier than normal from the PIR post-event traffic. Guests should consider an alternate route like the 101 Freeway north.
