Get to know the San Francisco starters
"If we don’t win, that would really be a crying shame," Arians said.
"It’s something (I keep to) myself," Ellington said. "I don’t share it with anybody. I’ve got it written down at my place. I’m doing pretty good. I’ll let you know that."
Patrick Peterson didn’t see Michael Crabtree the first time the Cardinals and 49ers played. Crabtree was rehabbing a torn Achilles he hurt during the offseason. But Peterson is very aware of Crabtree, whom Peterson once called one of the the top wide receivers he had faced.
Turns out no matter how hard Karlos Dansby campaigned to be chosen for his first Pro Bowl, it wasn’t enough.
"It looks like we’ll be full-go and ready to play," Arians said. "It’s a big game. It’s fun to have the last one count. That’s what we wanted all year, for this game to matter and it matters."
One byproduct of Arizona hiring Bruce Arians was an increase in points scored.
"It matters to him," Fitzgerald said. "He wants to be great. He wants the pressure on his shoulders and he has that look in the huddle every Sunday -- that who’s with me look? Who’s going to ride with me today? And to have that kind of leadership at that position means a lot to us."
ESPN.com's Cardinals reporter Josh Weinfuss and 49ers reporter Bill Williamson discussed Sunday's big game in Glendale.
