As the NFL Combine is ready to begin, we take a look at the latest collection of NFL mock drafts from around the web.
Many have noted that the seventh pick may be too high to take an interior lineman, but Pete Prisco of CBS doesn't agree. He thinks the Cardinals go with Chance Warmack from Alabama to play at right guard and improve their running game. As does Walter Football.
Other sites still think tackle is the way to go, given that the position has more value. Footballs Future has Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M falling into the Cards' lap. Meanwhile, Dane Brugler of CBS still thinks the Cards end up with Eric Fisher from Central Michigan. USA Today agrees with the Fisher selection. Our very own mothership, SB Nation has Joeckel falling to Arizona as well. Writer Dan Kadar even suggests the Cards could trade up to the #1 overall pick to grab Joeckel.
Then you get to the inevitable possibility of the Cards taking a quarterback. Rob Rang of CBS is still on the Matt Barkley bandwagon, which I don't see as a good fit. Josh Norris of NFL.com has the Cards taking Mike Glennon from NC State at #7. Draft Tek has the Cardinals going with Geno Smith from West Virginia.
Has your opinion changed since the last collection of mocks? If not, I am sure it might after this week's combine results are released.
