Alexander has received a three-year deal from the Cardinals, although no cap details have been released as of yet.
Alexander is coming off a season where he was named as a Pro Bowl special teams player. His skill in that aspect of the game is something that greatly appeals to new head coach Bruce Arians, who is a big believer in strong special teams play.
The 29 year old linebacker tallied 46 combined tackles as well as 2.5 sacks last season, showing that he can play linebacker on spot duty on top of his special teams contributions.
Alexander leaves the Redskins, a team he has been with since 2006. The Cardinals, meantime, continue to make prudent moves in order to improve the core of their football team.
