I put on my GM hat today and decided I was going to do my first mock draft of the off season. These are the players I feel like will compliment our team and be building blocks going forward. Here it goes....
)Ezekiel Ansah - OLB/DE, BYU Huge upside. Insane athlete. Great future.
)Tony Jefferson - Safety, Oklahoma Rangy, fast, good in coverage, can play in the box, versatile. Has a background with Fleming.
)Larry Warford - OG, Kentucky Powerful run blocker. High motor. Mean streak. Can be plugged in immediately if need be.
)Montee Ball - RB, Wisconsin A very good RB prospect and also good value for the 4th round. Is a natural playmaker and leader on the field. Can pretty much do it all. 3 down back.
)Gavin Escobar - TE, San Diego State Size, mobility, and Hands. Good run blocker. Smart. Versatile, can line up in the backfield.
)Tyran Mathieu - CB/S, LSU He doesn't give a sh*t.
)Jonathan Stewart - ILB/OLB, Texas A&M An ILB in college but the size and explosiveness to play OLB in NFL. Can be a utility backer and special teams ace. Who knows, maybe he develops into something.
