The dates of the offseason minicamps for the Arizona Cardinals became known the other day, and they will be starting offseason workouts, opening the facility to the team's players, beginning April 2. The team officially announced their offseason schedule, starting April 2 when they open workouts and then closing up shop until training camp after mandatory mini-camp June 13.
Veterans have a voluntary mini-camp right before the draft from April 23-25.
After the draft and the team has signed its undrafted rookies, all the rookies will have their mandatory mini-camp May 10-12.
The team then has three sets of organized team activities (OTAs). These voluntary activities are Tuesday-Thursday on three different weeks. The first is May 14-16, then the following week from May 21-23. They take the week of Memorial Day off and then return for their final OTAs from June 3-6.
The next week is when mandatory mini-camp is scheduled, from June 11-13.
After that, the players are off until training camp, which apparently will no longer be in Flagstaff.
