The NFL Draft is done for the Arizona Cardinals. Three days, seven rounds, two trades and nine player selections. Who were they?
In the first round, with the seventh overall pick, they selected guard Jonathan Cooper from North Carolina.
In the second round, first they traded down from number 38 to number 45, acquiring the 110th pick. They selected linebacker Kevin Minter out of LSU.
In the third round, with the 69th pick in the draft, they selected defensive back Tyrann Mathieu from LSU.
With their first fourth round selection, the 103rd pick in the draft, the selected Texas defensive end Alex Okafor.
The 110th pick, which they had acquired from the San Diego Chargers, they traded to the the New York Giants. Arizona got the 116th pick and a sixth round selection, the 187th overall. With the 116th pick, the Cards drafted guard Earl Watford out of James Madison.
In the fifth round, the Cards used the 140th pick to draft Stanford running back Stepfan Taylor.
In the sixth round, with their first pick, the 174th overall, they drafted Texas A&M receiver Ryan Swope. Then, with the pick they got from the Giants, they selected Clemson running back Andre Ellington with the 187th pick.
With their final pick in the draft, the 219th pick overall, they took Rutgers tight end D.C Jefferson.
