No not charming. Charmin like the toilet paper. You know the soft fluffy stuff that folks use to wipe their ass with.
Thru two preseason games now, there has been one consistency that really stands out to me. That one consistency is that this team shows soft like Charmin.
All the talk of losing Horton and will the defense regress under Bowles or that Palmer is or isn't a good QB or of the WR's, the RB's, Oline, etc.; my #1 concern is this team isn't physical enough in the most physical division in football.
BA stated he wanted a smart, fast and physical football team. This team hasn't put it together yet. Mental errors and lack of physical play up front on both sides of the ball are holding this team back. It may be the thing that keeps this team from challenging in the division.
I challenge this teams toughness because I want them to be able to compete in a division of tough teams. When BA says he doesn't see the dominance, I think he needs to take a look again at the physical nature of the other three teams in the division. Are the other teams more talented ? No. What they are is; line up and straight junk you in the face teams and if you can't or won't compete physically, then your going nowhere fast.
The Cards have had a history of being soft. Can the Cardinals become a physical team this year ? Physical enough to compete ? Can they win without that mental and physical toughness ? Tyrann Mathieu and Kevin Minter stand out to me as two of the most physical players on this team. Who are the players on this team that can match the physical intensity of the division foes ?
