It has been stated more than once that the Arizona Cardinals had their struggles despite the 12-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Pro Football Focus did their "refocus" on the game, which included some of their ratings.
According to them, players that stood out had grades that corresponded. Safety Tony Jefferson graded out at +5.0 for the game. Receiver Kerry Taylor had a +1.3. Running back Rashard Mendenhall was solid, landing a +1.2 grade in limited action.
The notable thing about Mendenhall? It is that it contrasted the overall struggles the Cards have had at running the ball. They have earned a -3.5 grade at running the ball in two preseason games.
The other thing that stands out as a negative is the pass rush, namely the push inside by Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell. The two combined for one pressure in 15 pass rushing attempts. The pass rush as a team was a team wide -4.2, which is what followed up a -7.4.
