NFL inactive list, Week 2, Lions vs. Cardinals: Larry Fitzgerald active for Arizona, Nick Fairley out for Detroit

USA TODAY Sports

Fitzgerald will play; how much will be the question of the day.

The Arizona Cardinals will in fact be with star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald when they host the Detroit Lions. He is among the 46 active players and will start the game. Receiver Kerry Taylor, promoted from the practice squad on Saturday, will also be active, providing depth in the case that Fitzgerald is not able to give it a full go.

For the the Lions, they will be without starting defensive tackle Nick Fairley, who missed most of the week of practice with a shoulder injury. They will also be without starting right tackle Jason Fox. In their places, C.J. Mosley will start in place of Fairley and Corey Hilliard for Fox.

The full inactive list looks like this:

Cardinals:

Lions:
  • QB Kellen Moore
  • RB Mike LeShoure
  • S Don Carey
  • G Leroy Harris
  • RT Jason Fox
  • WR Ryan Broyles
  • DT Nick Fairley
