NFL final injury report, Week 4: Larry Fitzgerald probable for Cardinals, Vincent Jackson questionable for Bucs

Jeff Zelevansky

A look at the final injury report for both teams.

The week of practice is over and both the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released their final injury reports. The Cardinals have a couple players out. However, two key offensive players -- Larry Fitzgerald and Rashard Mendenhall -- are listed as probable for the game. No one has doubted that they would play, but Fitz was a full participant in practice all week and Mendenhall was for the final two practices, so they are healthier than when they played in New Orleans.

The only two players that are out for the game in Tampa are Dan Williams, who is excused for the death of his father, and Kevin Minter, who has a hamstring injury.

Safety Rashad Johnson is questionable for the game with his severed fingertip. Johnson hopes to play, but according to Bruce Arians, if he plays, it would likely be in a backup role or on special teams. That means that Tyrann Mathieu will be expected to start at safety. If Johnson plays, he will play with a ball cast, his hand being kept in a fist, so not to further aggravate his finger injury.

Defensive lineman Ronald Talley is also probable for the game.

For Tampa, they are a bit banged up. Four players are out. They are guard Gabe Carimi (illness), defensive tackle Derek Landri (knee), tight end Tom Crabtree (ankle) and former Cardinals cornerback Michael Adams (knee).

Both starting receivers -- Vincent Jackson (ribs) and Mike Williams (hamstring) -- are questionable. That will not be the ideal setting for rookie quarterback Mike Glennon, who will make his NFL debut. Cornerback Rashaan Melvin (hamstring) is also questionable.

Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (ankle), defensive tackle Gary Gibson (back) and safety Mark Barron (hamstring) are probable.
