I really like what I've seen so far from the 2013 Cards. We can win, we can run, we can pass, we can pull off the trick, we can defend. All these things we can do, just not consistently. We are a team in transition, looking to congeal and mollify. At this moment in time, there are two winnable games before us, versus Tampa Bay and Carolina. This should bring our record to 3-2 with a contest against SF, in SF, on the horizon. In my estimation this should be perfect timing for the Arizona Cardinals to come together as a team. I expect a hard fought battle in The City by the Bay where even a loss in the W/L column will be a moral victory for our home team. We will, in fact, emerge as an NFL force to be reckoned with. The 2013 Arizona Cardinals should begin to play as a formidable team from the sixth game on. I am expecting a 4-4 record at the half way point in the season, with our Red Birds beginning to climb in the Power Rankings over our Bye Week. Our biggest weakness is defending an elite NFL QB on his game. Our second biggest weakness is defending tall strong receivers. Our third biggest weakness is Left Tackle. The first two are deadly plagues for all NFL Teams, but the third is a curable malady. Let us hope that the Levi problem gets solved in a hurry. Tonight is Saturday, on the eve of the TB game, and I am looking forward to our talent carrying us to yet another W, while we continue to evolve. After this game I will make my assessment, as to how I think Bruce Arians is growing into his shoes as an NFL Head Coach. In my estimation he has done an excellent job to this point, given a fresh start with all new everything, everywhere. That, however, will not buy him a pass on the season record. The Arizona faithful have been spoiled with recent Playoff runs and a Super Bowl appearance. We expect a 9-7 season at minimum. Break even or less will be a profound disappointment, unless the team performs heroically from the mid term break to the end of the season. Thus, giving the fan base hope going forward. Having stated all the above, this Tampa Bay Game is crucial to the development of our Arizona Cardinals, and the difference from us going 6-10 or 9-7. Your thoughts?
