The Arizona Cardinals, because of their Thursday night game last week, got a bonus practice in on Monday to prep for the game this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. There is no injury report, but there is some injury news.
The biggest injury continues to be to quarterback Drew Stanton. There have been different reports with how long he will be out. Head coach Bruce Arians told the media Stanton could be out between two and four weeks. General manager Steve Keim said it is "difficult to put a timeline" on the injury.
Safety Tyrann Mathieu, who broke and dislocated a thumb, was back at practice with a cast on. There wasn't any way he was going to miss this game against the Seahawks. He didn't want to miss the two games he did. He expects to play this weekend.
Bruce Arians didn't divulge any injury information, but did say everyone practiced.
Guard Jonathan Cooper practiced with a cast on his left wrist. Per ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, the injury is somewhere between a break and a sprain.
Guard Paul Fanaika was back at practice after missing time with a sprained ankle. We will see this weekend if he goes back into the starting lineup or if Cooper remains.
Defensive end Ed Stinson probably was limited. He was seen on an exercise bike during the open part of practice, along with Stanton.
The first official injury report will come out Wednesday.
