In a recent blog post by Darren Urban on AzCardinals.com, he mentioned Steve Keim and the Cardinals potentially trading a few players (unspecified), that we have strong depth at and can be starters elsewhere, to obtain some future draft picks.

Let's look at the Strong Safety position: Deone Bucannon and Tony Jefferson make up a potent group for this position. Both are young, respectively at age 22-23. Deone Bucannon was a 2014 1st Round Draft pick for a reason, making Tony Jefferson a high value player for trade. Jefferson's combination of youth and experience makes him an intriguing target for trade. Chris Clemons would be a nice valued backup to replace him or Brandon Person could end up being another key UDFA gem that Steve Keim picked up. Don't forget that Justin Bethel can play SS as well.(Tony Jefferson Value: 3rd-4th RD Draft Pick)

Let's look at the QB position: Yes Logan Thomas was drafted by the Cardinals last season so why in the world would I think that they will just give up on him? Well if you compare him to the progress in which Bruce Arians saw in Phillip Sims, it shows that Thomas is the odd man out. Both have the arm strength to throw deep balls but Sims apparently has a stronger understanding, maturity, and command of the offense in OTAs. (Logan Thomas Value: 4th-6th RD Pick)

Other names: Marion Grice, Jaron Brown, Earl Watford, Alameda Ta'amu, Kevin Minter

Marion Grice would have been the starter for the San Diego Chargers if it had not been for the Cardinals picking him up from their practice squad. He is a receiving threat and we do have one too many of those but many other teams don't. He has good cut ability and was able to capitalize on a goal line opportunity in the playoffs against the Panthers. (Marion Grice Value: 6th-7th RD Pick)

Jaron Brown is a guy I really like and I truly don't want him to leave but i'm just exploring possibilities that may or may not happen. He has shown last season and the season before that he can compete. Even with very little playing time at Clemson, his speed and strong hands game him the upper hand. Trevor Harman would be the wild card to make the team if Brown leaves but I hope he stays just like I want Jefferson to stay. (Jaron Brown Value: 3rd-5th RD Pick)

Kevin Minter has not shown much of anything Yet. Maybe it is our system that is plaguing him but he has no reason to have played so poorly. We have guys that could potentially surpass him, like Gabe Martin, Andrae Kirk or 6'5'' Alani Fua. Glenn Carson could surprise us too. (Kevin Minter Value: 5th-6th RD Pick)

Alameda Ta'amu & Earl Watford have made significant progress. Their chances of getting traded is the lowest compared to the others I mentioned but they do have good value. Xavier Williams has as similar playing style to Ta'amu and Steen is threatening Watford's place on the roster.
