With their season coming to a close, the Arizona Cardinals now know what pick they have in the 2016 NFL Draft. They will have the 29th pick in the first round -- the third-to-last selection. Normally it would be the 30th pick, but with New England having had their pick taken away, the first round will only have 31 selections.
With the 29th pick, the Cardinals could have a few options, according to SB Nation's Dan Kadar in his most recent mock draft.
He has the Cardinals going with Eastern Kentucky edge rusher Noah Spence, who has potentially game changing pass rushing skills, but comes with some baggage.
If he's put into the right system, Spence could be a superstar in the NFL. Spence can play linebacker or defensive end, and would give the Cardinals the top flight pass rusher they don't have.
Creating a pass rush will be one of the team's highest priorities in the offseason. Spence would be a nice addition.
Kadar also lists Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook and Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller as other options.
Would you be pleased with any of those selections?
