As we go through free agency and we the Arizona Cardinals bringing in only two new players in Tyvon Branch and Evan Mathis, we also see players headed elsewhere.
Safety Rashad Johnson recently signed with the Tennessee Titans and offensive lineman Ted Larsen just signed with the Chicago Bears.
The numbers are in for both deals.
Johnson gets a one-year deal worth $2 million. he can earn an additional $1 million in incentives.
Larsen got one year and $2.4 million. That's not bad, considering he was considered to be a weak link on the offensive line. He will earn nearly as much in 2016 as he earned in two seasons with Arizona. His deal with the Cardinals was two years, $2.6 million.
Based on numbers our fine member, Gungus, shares, both players will factor into the calculation for compensatory picks next year.
Here are the contracts the former 2015 Cardinals have gotten this offseason:
Rashad Johnson: one year, $2 million
Ted Larsen: one year, $2.4 million
Sean Weatherspoon: one year, $1.5 million
Bradley Sowell: one year, $1 million
Bobby Massie: three years, $18 million
