Rivalries and the NFL's desire for more of the same.
I was scoping out nfl.com as usual and came across this article which made me think of the new and forming rivalries of today . The article talks of rivalries of yesterdays past and how they should live again. As a fan of the game I agree these classic rivalries would be great to see once more but if their dead their dead. I would love it if national media would allow the rivalries of today to present themselves naturally. Alas the media, when it comes to sports, always wants to shove certain teams down your throat and it's tiring. It's always the history of the game. The past that needs to be relived. Hop...

2012 NFL Predictions by Division and Conference
The draft is over, free agency is winding down, the schedule has been released, team camps have begun, and the fans are anxiously waiting for the NFL season to officially begin. And with that all in mind, I believe it might just be time for some 2012 season predictions to take our minds off a few things.
What I did here was take down the entire 2012 schedule and select the winner of each game to attempt to give an accurate win-loss record for every team. Games that featured very evenly matched teams were typically selected by the home team unless it had playoff implications in which I judged the winner by the team that could close out. After that the playoff bracket was created and I selected how I thought they playoffs would shake down.
Once the whole season was predicted, I put together how the 2013 NFL draft would potentially look like if the season rankings went that way. Plus I also hand out the league awards at the end of the season if I had the vote.

Calais gets 5 years
Just got the text from KTAR as Im sure many of you have. Let all the idiots who dont follow this team pop off at the mouth, but Michael isnt Bill. This defense is gonna be vicious and still has room to get much better. Let me be the first to say......Atta boy Michael!!! I have not seen terms and they will most likely not be released for a while but does it really matter how much it is for? This just shows the teams commitment to winning and that players now want to stay and play here. Somewhere, Alex Smith (and field goal kickers everywhere) just shat themselves
Upgraded Offensive Line....
As we go through our time of waiting for training camp as well as some small news about OTA's I wanted to talk about our O-line. I was going to do both lines to add perspective but lets be honest our D-line is very good maybe top 5 lines in the NFL (minimum top 10). So O line here we go....
Off-Season Timelines, Who Will Be There in May?
Hey folks - kind of slow right now, waiting for rookies to be brought in to hear how they look out of the gates. Anxious to hear about Floyed / Massie / Fleming etc. and not only their first practices, but also confidence / attitude. Let's take a quick review of the upcoming dates after the jump....

Will The Communication Be Where It Needs To Be On The O Line For The Cards This Year
Keim Gets A Raise - Reaction?
Well this is a quick, short, to-the-point post, but didn't see mention of it on here, so thought I'd share. Our very own 13 year Cardinal, Steve Keim, just got a raise which will hopefully keep him on our roster for years to come. For the specifics, hit the jump....

Leinart in Oakland, Maybe He Will Finally Find A Fit
I was just looking at ESPN and saw that Leinart has signed with the Raiders to back up Carson Palmer and help mentor Terrelle Pryor. Looking at Matt's career in the NFL is incredible. He and Vince Young were the Andrew Luck and RGIII (in that they were the top two QBs in their draft) from that draft class who were both "can't miss prospects". Looking at Vince Young signing to back up Bills QB Fitzpatrick, and Leinart backing up former USC teammate Palmer just shows the business of the NFL and how quickly you can fall if you don't capitalize on your moments in the spotlight.
Looking at Leinart during his time at the Texans, I thought he'd found the offensive style and team he would need to finally resurrect his name. But due to injury he's now going to be another career backup with the term "draft bust" tossed around from time to time.
