Congratulations to Cuckoo for Coco Puffs and Tim V who correctly predicted all but a single game to share the Week Won Point.  The Cowboys', Steelers', and Patriots' ruined many of our weeks, some more so than others and the standings reflect that...and the fact that "Rabbit Season" is over.  Once again, all the picks for the upcoming week need to be posted before the Thursday kick-off...you're welcome to adjust your picks later for the Sunday games as long as it's before that game's kick-off.

This is an elimination week for boogatt66, Phil7178, and thereallacardsfan; with only two weeks on the books they'll need to pick every week through the end of the season to qualify for the Pick'em League Championship prize swag.  It's too late to jump into the mix as nine weeks of picks are required to qualify.  There is always next year (and preseason).

Week 10 is over and another member gets added to the ever-growing dead list(sorry bcloirao). This week it gets tougher and there aren't many favorable match ups. Shall we see a winner soon? Hunting season is over.  Starting this week and running through Week 15 there will be Thursday games on the schedule; to qualify for that week's Pick'em all eight games have to be picked before kick-off of that Thursday game (or the Friday game in the case of Week 16's schedule, a mandatory pick week).  You're welcome to change your picks later in the week as breaking news happens, but your last pick selection is locked upon the kick-off of those respective games.

Another rough week was had by many as the Raven and Eagles disappointed most.  The Eagles' pick was the sole blemish on kj197728's week.  After spending a portion of the year dwelling near/in the cellar, kj is steadily extracting himself out of the basement and earns the Week Won Point in full.  Congratulations, kj197728!

This is an elimination week; those participants (tigg, Undrafteds, Xquizyt) that have only picked one week thus far will be dropped from the Overall Rankings unless they pick this week and every week through the end of the season.

First let me start off by saying that the crop has become a little smaller when Tim V(who took a gamble) and Hevchv were eliminated this week. As the stat sheet shows, stay away from the Texans and Packers. They've both combined to eliminate 46% of the members(ouch!). As far as the current status of the league, we're now at the point that if any noobs do join, they won't be able to build a streak longer then any of the current members(in other words, don't join unless you play for fun). As far as this week's schedule, there are some favorable picks, especially for those of you who haven't picked the Saints yet. I also just noticed we finally have Thursday night football this week, which is great. Let's take a look at the damage.

((My apologies for the delay; the movers arrived yesterday with the household items and internet finally started working today so I can wrap this up on my "real" PC!))

As much as we would like to forget the Cardinals' game against Carolina, many of us would like to forget our performance in the eighth week of the Pick'em League.  Many finished with three or four correct picks (myself included) and are feeling the hurt in the overall standings; some weathered the wild week well with six wins (AJ, bclairao, blank_38, Thomaldo, and wongy) and share the Week Won Point evenly (0.20 each).  Congratulations to y' all.

This is the last week new participants can get in on the action and meet the eligibility requirements.  To be eligible for the Pick'em Championship, participants need to have picked a total of nine weeks of the season (minimum) with the last two weeks being mandatory.  The highest qualifying winning percentage takes home the title and some Cardinals prize swag.

Seeing how I'm not ready to discuss the tough loss yesterday, I'll get the survival pick'em results and picks out now. The name should say it all. CardstuckinVA took a gamble on the Lions and lost. With that being said, there are now seven survivors remaining. The picks only get harder and there's another slate of tough games to pick this week. Does anyone dare pick the Cardinals at Chicago? It should be interesting. Let's look at who's left.

Afternoon all, it's time to see how the remaining members of the survival pick'em league did last week. The reason this is the good news, bad news edition should be obvious - everyone survived, but they also used good teams and now the picking only gets harder(not to mention the schedule is brutal). As a side note, something was brought to my attention last week regarding the eliminated members. After the winner of the league is decided(and they get their prize), if there's a good amount of time left in the season we can start up Survival Pick'em League 2. The second league will be for bragging rights, so any feedback on rules or if you're interested would help. Getting back to the current league, let's look at who's left.

Shame on all of us who picked against the Cards; or should it be all us that picked against the Cards this past week need to do it every East Coast road game if it assures a victory?  If it weren't the Giants pick, it was either picking Atlanta, Chicago or Minnesota that kept most from posting a perfect record this week...unless you're StuckinColorado.  Congratulations for posting the first perfect week this year!
