Thus end the media fabricated quarterback controversy in Arizona. Leinart is done for the season with a broken collarbone and in his stead -- obviously -- will be Kurt Warner.
The Cardinals also secured the spot at quarterback by adding some depth a la Tim Rattay.
"(Rattay) has competed in this league and he has started in this league," Whisenhunt said. "That will help him pick up the offense. Just the way he understands the game ... You see it on tape, that’s why we were interested in him."
Though he's not a great quarterback, he's a decent enough backup. I just hope Warner doesn't get hurt.
