Berry Out for Rest of Season

For a third consecutive year, Bertrand Berry's season is coming to a close before it should. This time around the defensive end/linebacker is going to be missing time with a torn left triceps injury that has landed him on the IR.

An injury liability, it remains that Berry is still a good player. Unfortunately, in instances such as this, when a player cannot finish consecutive seasons three years in a row, it may be time to find a long-term replacement.

Still, despite missing the latter half of the past three seasons, B-train's work off the field has made him a local icon in some respects. His foundation, the self-named "Bertrand Berry Foundation," works to offer children a better life experience by raising funds for two separate non-profit organizations: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Childhelp.
