Arizona Cardinals Sign Victor Hobson, Cut Jerame Tuman

The Arizona Cardinals signed Victor Hobson to bolster the depth at outside linebacker and special teams. Hobson is a six year veteran who spent five years with the Jets but he's been cut by the Patriots and Bengals this season. Hobson's best season, 2006, included 100 tackles, 6 sacks and an interception. He's only 28 years old so he could figure in the Cardinals plans in the future, which would make sense considering that he's signed through 2009. To make room for Hobson, the Cards cut veteran tight end Jerame Tuman.

The Cardinals also filled out their practice squad by signing Dennis Keyes. Keyes spent training camp and most of the preseason with the Cardinals. His highlight during the preseason was an 84 yard interception return for a TD against the Chiefs.
