Arizona Cardinals Power Rankings Round Up: Week 4

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

We're beyond the bye week at this point and the power rankings nearly look identical as last weeks. The Cardinals are averaging 18th in the rankings and the majority of opinions think the Cardinals have a chance to win on Sunday and finally gather some momentum. More rankings after the jump..

ESPN- 19th

The Texans' defense should give Kurt Warner and friends a chance to get their offense moving again.

Yahoo- 18th

Is first-year defensive coordinator Billy Davis smarter than the rest of us, or is he just talking smack like yours truly before the Cal-SC game?

Foxsports - 18th

WHAT A SURPRISE: For once, the Cardinals not living up to their own hopes is actually a surprise — especially after their torrid playoff run in January. The offense has been pedestrian, Larry Fitzgerald has been mortal and Kurt Warner has looked every bit as old as he really is.

Yahoo team ranker - This little ranker is actually pretty interesting. It gathers data by have you pick the winners of match ups. It continues asking you match up after match up, and based on all the yahoo users data, it compiles the rankings(which seem quite accurate might I add). The Cardinals are ranked 18th.

What If Sports- 16th

(Whatifsports utilizes football simulation engine to present the most comprehensive and unbiased ranking possible of all 32 teams. WhatIfSports simulated every possible match up in the NFL 100 times, and used the winning percentages from those nearly 50,000 games to evaluate all teams based on their current rosters and depth charts.)

USA Today- 18th

Sports Illustrated- 20th

If ever there's a week where Kurt Warner and the Cardinals high-octane passing game needs to be heard from, it's this week at home against a Houston defense that ranks 25th overall. The Cardinals already own one win against the AFC South (at Jacksonville), but their defense needs to shake off that humbling at home by Indianapolis two weeks ago.

Cbs Sports- 18th

They come off their bye week at 1-2 and have had some defensive issues. They have to get to the passer and the offensive line has to play better.

Bleacher Report- 18th

Coming off a bye, the Cards have a winnable game at home against the Texans on Sunday.
