Max Hall Named NFL Rookie Of The Week

The NFL announced earlier today that Cardinals Quarterback Max Hall won the voting for Rookie of the Week on NFL.com.

Hall was on the list for winning his first game as a starter against the New Orleans Saints, and even though he did not put up outstanding numbers (he was 17 of 27 for 168 yards with an Interception on his second pass), but he showed the accuracy, leadership, toughness, and (dare I say) the Swagtangibles that the Cardinals saw in him when he was signed as an Undrafted Free Agent following the Draft. He was the 4th string Quarterback at that time, and now he is the starter for his hometown team.

The other nominees after the jump...

  • Brandon Graham, DE, Eagles: 2 Tackles, Forced Fumble, Sack.
  • Ndamukong Suh, DT, Lions: 3 Tackles, Interception of Sam Bradford.
  • Mike Williams, WR, Buccaneers: 7 Catches for 99 yards, Touchdown.
  • Alterraun Verner, CB, Titans: 8 Tackles, Interception returned to the Cowboys 1 yard line that led to a Touchdown.
