Another favourable week of picks is going a long way to making the first half of season a vague memory of ineptitude. Clearly participants had a lot of goodness aside from eating and family on Thursday as the Patriots woke up to handle the Lions, the Saints survived the Cowboys, and did the Bengals even travel to play the Jets? The UFL Championship once more came down to the last play as a blocked field goal attempt prevented the Tuskers from sending the game to OT securing Las Vegas' repeat championship. The Falcons own Atlanta, the Chargers own Peyton, and the Texans own the Titans. And the Cardinals, well, I was actually getting comments of sympathy from the 49ers fans at the pizza joint I watched the game at in Sacramento. It's official: the Cardinals are pitiful.
