Reminder bump: still eight participants from last week that haven't submitted their picks for the Divisional Round match-ups. Should be a great weekend of playoff football! With four games there's ample opportunities to improve your Pick'em Points score to get yourself into prime position for the remaining four (yes, we'll pick the Pro Bowl and count it this year) games of the 2010 season.
Wild Card Weekend once more lives up to its billing, especially for Saturday's games. Who could have expected Seattle to come out strong and the Saints to be playing like our beloved Cardinals? The Jets and Colts played an old-fashioned defensive battle that was just missing the mud. Sunday's games went more predominately the way most of us expected, with the Chiefs wilting under the playoff lights once more and while the Eagles continued their late season offensive fizzle. No one picked the Seahawks to win but FarRock5's '33-20 Saints' was the least awful of the predictions at a -3 Pick'em Point score. Reo Hays nearly had the Jets pegged with his 20-17 prediction that earned 46 Pick'em Points. Many participants picked the Ravens to win in a lopsided fashion and Hadrarius' 31-13 prediction garnered 43 Pick'em Points. The Packers survived their Philadelphia experience better than they did seven years earlier, and Cuckoo for Coco Puffs' 26-17 prediction was closest and earned him 44 Pick'em Points.
If your username is in the table found after the jump, you're in the running for the Playoff Pick'em crown. Remember that you need to pick a winner and predict a final score (not total points). No, calling a game going to OT correctly doesn't garner you any extra points. Picks need to be in before the Ravens/Steelers kick-off on Saturday to be valid. Like last week, you're welcome to adjust the final score of a particular game as much as you like before the kick-off of that game. If you miss a game or week, you're out of the running. With another four games this week there should be plenty of opportunities to make up ground or lose it, especially with the standings packed tightly after one week. Good luck!
