To say this season has been bad would be an understatement. But believe it or not, there's still a few reasons to watch the Arizona Cardinals games. Even though the 49ers are currently on a streak of domination, we're still not officially out of the Playoff race.
So keep an eye on these 5 things tomorrow when the Cards take on the Pittsburgh Steelers
1) Kevin KolbHow will Kevin Kolb respond to all the criticism he's receiving? If the Cards expect to win, they'll need a dominating performance from him against an excellent Steelers Defense.
2) Beanie Wells
For the Cardinals to stay in the game, they'll need RB Beanie Wells to lead the way on Offense. He scored a TD last week against the Vikings, but other than that, was largely a non-factor. Will he pick up the pace in his so-far breakthrough season?
3) Ken Whisenhunt
Although he's to directly playing on the field, the way Coach Whiz reacts to all his critics will be one of the deciding factors. He's taken a lot of criticism for his bad play-calling and decisions so far in the season. The Coaching Staff will need to silence everyone if they hope to win the game.
4) The Home Crowd
Like Coach Whiz, the crowd won't actually play in the game, but that doesn't mean it's not important. Games against the Steelers have historically been known to be full of Steelers fans. Will this game be just like another home-game for the Steelers?
5) Ben Rothlisberger and the Pittsburgh Offense
The Cardinals Defense suffered last week vs. the Vikings Offense. Now that they've had a bye week to rest, they'll need to step up their game and keep the Steelers Offense quiet if they expect the game to be close. Can they stop the injury-ridden Steelers?
