This was probably the worst week of NFL Football that I have seen in a while. We got bad games, blowouts, and low scoring games that were more about the offenses being completely inept than defenses playing well.

For a quick review, we got Carson Palmer, Kyle Boller, and Matt Cassel combining to throw eight interceptions in one game, the Saints murdering the Colts on national TV by scoring 62 points, which is also more than the Rams have scored over the entire season (56 points), the 6-3 toilet bowl between the Browns and Seahawks, the Texans and Cowboys winning in decisive blowout fashion, the first 55 minutes of the Miami/Denver game before Tebow led his miraculous comeback that could also be described as an incredible choke job by Miami, Philip Rivers throwing the ball away on 4th down in what could have been a game winning drive, the groin kick in the Pack/Vikings game, and the bumbling offenses in last nights game between Baltimore and Jacksonville where the Ravens didn't even pick up a 1st down until late in the third quarter and the Jags challenged that Flacco stepped out of the endzone when it wasn't even close.

So, now lets look at the recaps.

Washington Redskins vs Carolina Panthers Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Cam Newton threw for 256 yards and a score, and added 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground, as the Carolina Panthers defeated the Washington Redskins, 33-20. "Once he (Newton) got in a rhythm in the second half, he really was able to get the ball downfield," Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said. Steve Smith continued his career resurgence with 143 receiving yards on seven catches for Carolina (2-5), which snapped its three-game losing skid.

Denver Broncos vs Miami Dolphins Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- The moment the Broncos lined up for a two-point conversion with 17 seconds to play and a chance to tie the game, it seemed destined Tim Tebow would get the ball. And as he crashed over the goal line, Tebow looked less like the quarterback who struggled for most of Sunday's game and more like the player who rose to stardom in Florida. Tebow, in his first start of the season, led the Broncos to two touchdowns in the final three minutes before Matt Prater's 52-yard field goal midway through overtime lifted Denver to an 18-15 victory against the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium. It was vintage Tebow.

Seattle Seahawks vs Cleveland Browns Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Phil Dawson kicked two field goals of over 50 yards, leading the Cleveland Browns to a 6-3 win over the Seattle Seahawks from Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Houston Texans vs Tennessee Titans Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Arian Foster totaled 234 yards of total offense and scored three touchdowns as Houston dominated Tennessee, 41-7, in a battle for AFC South supremacy. Foster rushed for 115 yards on 25 carries and scored twice, adding five receptions for 119 yards and another TD for the Texans (4-3), who posted their largest margin of victory against their Sunday foes since arriving in the NFL in 2002.

Atlanta Falcons vs Detroit Lions Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Matt Ryan's touchdown pass to Roddy White late in the second quarter proved to be the difference as Atlanta downed Detroit, 23-16, at Ford Field. Ryan went just 20-of-34 for 218 yards and two interceptions, and added a rushing touchdown for the Falcons (4-3), who have won consecutive games for the first time this season. "It's a good football team over there and we knew we were going to have to put forth our best effort to come out of here with the win," said Ryan. "We gutted it out today and that's what you have to do when you're on the road."

San Diego Chargers vs New York Jets Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Plaxico Burress caught three touchdown passes as the New York Jets rallied in the second half to take a 27-21 victory over the San Diego Chargers. Burress caught four balls for 25 yards in his second career three-touchdown performance. The first came against the Dallas Cowboys in 2007 when he was a member of the Giants. Mark Sanchez completed 18-of-33 passes for 173 yards and an interception for the Jets (4-3), who won for the second straight week. "We just feel like we're hitting our stride now," Jets head coach Rex Ryan said. "This is the football team we thought we had."

Chicago Bears vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Matt Forte ran for 145 yards and a touchdown, as the Chicago Bears withstood a late charge from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to earn a 24-18 victory at Wembley Stadium. Jay Cutler completed 17-of-32 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown against two interceptions, while Marion Barber ran for a score for the Bears (4-3). Tampa Bay, already without starting running back LeGarrette Blount, lost backup Earnest Graham in the first quarter. Kregg Lumpkin spelled Graham, registering just 15 yards on eight carries. Josh Freeman threw for 264 yards and a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns for the Buccaneers (4-3), but was intercepted four times, the last of which -- by D.J. Moore -- came with under a minute remaining, sealing the final result.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Brandon Flowers finished with two interceptions -- one returned for a touchdown -- and the Kansas City defense totaled six interceptions, as the Chiefs took down the Oakland Raiders 28-0 Sunday afternoon.

Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Aaron Rodgers had three touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers recovered from a slow start to take a 33-27 win over the Minnesota Vikings to remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL. Rodgers completed his first 13 attempts and passed for 335 yards on 24-for-30 attempts while Greg Jennings caught seven passes for 147 yards and a touchdown for the Packers (7-0), who have won nine straight regular season games going back to last year.

St. Louis Rams vs Dallas Cowboys Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- Filling in for an injured Felix Jones, DeMarco Murray erupted for a franchise-best 253 yards rushing as Dallas dispatched St. Louis, 34-7, at Cowboys Stadium. Murray eclipsed the old single-game mark of 237, set by Emmitt Smith on a rainy October 31, 1993 in Philadelphia. He also set a new rookie record for yards on the ground in one contest, snapping Tony Dorsett's previously-held record of 206 yards, accomplished on December 4, 1977 -- also in Philly. In addition, his 91-yard first-quarter touchdown run was the second longest in team annals, next to Dorsett's memorable 99-yard scoring dash at Minnesota on January 3, 1983.

Indianapolis Colts vs New Orleans Saints Recap - October 23, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- The last time the New Orleans Saints played Indianapolis, they were celebrating a victory in Super Bowl XLIV. After Sunday night's record-setting performance, New Orleans looks like a legitimate contender again for the Lombardi Trophy. The Colts...far from it.

Baltimore Ravens vs Jacksonville Jaguars Recap - October 24, 2011 - NFL - SB Nation
- There truly are no cakewalks in the NFL. Jacksonville snapped a five-game losing streak by suffocating the league's fifth-highest scoring offense, battering and eventually shocking the Ravens, 12-7, on Monday night. The Jaguars snapped a five-game skid with an inspiring effort that forced the Ravens to franchise-low futility, holding them to 56 total yards until deep into the fourth quarter, sacking Joe Flacco four times and sealing the game with Drew Coleman's interception.
