Cardinals Vs Ravens Injury Report: Beanie Wells, Todd Heap Questionable

The Arizona Cardinals have arrived in Baltimore to play the Ravens on Sunday and this week the team is a little more banged up than in other weeks. Beanie Wells, who said earlier in the week that he was planning on playing in the game, did a little more in practice and is listed as questionable for the game. Former Ravens tight end Todd Heap, now with Arizona, is still nursing a hamstring injury as well. He was limited in practice on Friday and is also listed as questionable.

After the jump is the rest of the injury report.

Of the Cardinals with injuries, only Kerry Rhodes is out.

Those that are listed as questionable are Heap and Wells, receivers Early Doucet and DeMarco Sampson, tight end Jim Dray and linebacker Joey Porter. Corner Michael Adams is listed as probable with his hand injury.

For Baltimore, running back Anthony Allen, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, receiver Lee Evans and guard Ben Grubbs are out. Corner Danny Gorrer is questionable, while cornerbacks Chykie Brown and Chris Carr, safety Ed Reed and safety Tom Zbikowski are probable.

While it is uncertain whether Heap will actually play, one thing is certain is that he will want to, being that he is going back to where he played for ten years as a member of the Ravens. With two tight ends and two receivers listed as questionable, it could possibly put the Cardinals in a touchy situation with their skill players. They can ill afford to have any more injuries to those positions.

Darren Urban mentioned Porter's chronic pain in his knee. It is the first time I had heard it like that. It really looks like he is all but done. He has an achy knee, he misses a lot of practice and is contributing very little to the defense other than knowledge. We are very close to seeing the last of a player who was, in his prime, probably the most important defensive player on his team in Pittsburgh for years.

With the game is coming up in a day, we will soon know who will be able to make and who will not. For Arizona's sake, getting at least Doucet on the field is going to be almost a necessity. With the defense struggling in many facets, the offense needs all the help it can get.
