Arizona Cardinals/Minnesota Vikings Inactive List: Todd Heap And Bernard Berrian Out

Good morning Redbird nation. Today the Arizona Cardinals travel to the state of 1000 lakes to tangle with the Minnesota Vikings. During the week leading to the game, there were a few notable names on the injury list. Todd Heap and Beanie Wells were on it, both suffering from the dreaded hamstring injury. So, who will be and won't be available for the game today? Hit the jump to find out

The inactives for the Cardinals are: 

  • TE Todd Heap
  • P Dave Zastudil
  • WR Stephen Williams
  • QB John Skelton
  • TE Jim Dray
  • WR Chansi Stuckey
  • OT D'Anthony Batiste
  • DE Ronald Talley

With the injuries to Todd Heap and Jim Dray, the Cards will find out what 3rd round pick Rob Housler brings to the field. Expect King to see most of the playing time, as he is a much better blocker than Housler. This will also limit the two TE sets the Cards run. Expect to see more of Anthony Sherman as a blocker. And Ben Graham makes his return to the Cards, replacing Zastudil. 

Skelton, Dray, Talley and Batiste are carryovers from last week.  

For the Vikings, these players will be inactive:

  • CB  Antoine Winfield
  • WR Bernard Berrian
  • FS Mistral Raymond
  • MLB Xavier Adibi
  • C Brandon Fusco
  • OT DeMarcus Love
  • DE D'Aundre Reed

The biggest news here is that Bernard Berrian will be inactive. Reports have him being punished for engaging in a Twitter fight. The Cards secondary catch a break with this one. And with Antoine Winfield out, look for Kevin Kolb to light it up, as Larry Fitzgerald will draw plenty of extra coverage.
