Arizona Cardinals/Minnesota Vikings Postgame Thoughts And Quotes

New, comments

The Arizona Cardinals headed east to take on the Minnesota Vikings, a team yet to win a game. And after the final whistle, the Arizona Choke Artists, I mean Arizona Powder Puffs, I mean Arizona Rollovers put on a clinic, allowing 28 points in the first quarter en route to a 34 - 10 beating. Now at 1 - 4, the Cards head into a bye week. But let's see what was on the minds of players and coaches before they take a well deserved break from their grueling schedule.

Let's start at the top of the food chain, Coach Whis. "We have to look at what we are doing and who we are doing it with." Whisenhunt also stated that this applied to the coaching staff, "Nobody is exempt from that." I really don't know what he means there. But in reality, after 4 losses in a row, I should paraphrase. "We really suck, and I'm at a loss as to how to make it better."

Adrian Wilson probably said it best with his quote, which was to wave reporters away.

Beanie Wells had this to say, "We need to regroup and find ourselves. What we want to do, and who we want to be." In all fairness, I know he is talking about style of football. But if you take a step back, and apply to overall desire, I think he quote makes more sense. And as an answer, hopefully you guys decide you want to be football players.

The offensive field general Kevin Kolb offered up this gem. "I think everyone needs to clear their minds. You won't find non-belief in this locker room." Look at the scoreboard Kolb, you also won't find many W's in the Win column.

The bye is next. The record is 1- 4. The season is in jeopardy of mirroring the 2009 St Louis Rams 1 -15 season.  And with that said, I'll leave everyone with one last quote. "Insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." No, Einstein didn't play for the Cardinals. But I think after today's game, I'd let him suit up.
