NFL TV Schedule, Week 10: Bears/Lions, Giants/49ers Are Headliners

Week 10 in the NFL has no teams with a bye, so there are 14 Sunday games (one game was played on Thursday and there will be one on Monday). On the early and afternoon TV schedule, there are only a couple of real intriguing games. Naturally, any game with Tim Tebow is going to get attention nationally, and he takes the Denver Broncos to Kansas City. But the 4PM EST games have a couple of big ones, and people in the Phoenix area can only watch one of them on TV after they watch the Arizona Cardinals play the Philadelphia Eagles.

Those games are the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears on  and, the one that matters most for Cardinals fans,  the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. 

If you are in Phoenix and looking for a morning game, well all you get is the Cardinals, that is, unless you have NFL Sunday Ticket. 

You can watch the Tim Tebow show against the Chiefs, but but if you like football intrigue, then the Steelers/Bengals game is for you.

In the afternoon, I know I'll be watching the 49ers game hoping that the Giants can bring the Niners back a bit to the Earth during their dream season so far. That game is on FOX. The other game -- the Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks, airing on CBS -- has importance in the division, but is not nearly as intriguing. 

The Sunday night game on NBC will be a fun watch. There is always a lot of bad blood between the Jets and Patriots.

The Monday night matchup would have been an exciting game...if Brett Favre had returned. Donovan McNabb just doesn't have the same effect.
