The "Dream Team" sure looked like they were dreaming, as the Arizona Cardinals shocked every expert in the football world by defeating them 21-17, in Philadelphia.

In a game that was exciting to the very end, the Cardinals extended their winning streak to 2, and improved their record to 3-6.

Hit the jump for details from arguably the best Cardinals game all season.

John Skelton tried his best to create a QB controversy (And maybe even succeeded), going 21-40 with 315 yards, 3 TD's, and 2 Interceptions (One was returned for a touchdown by CB Asante Samuel).  But more importantly than his stats is his 4th Quarter performance.  Skelton led the Cardinals on the game-winning drive that ended in a 5 yard TD pass to Early Doucet (His other two TD's came off passes to Larry Fitzgerald).

The Cards Defense also did their best to steal the spotlight.  Stopping QB Michael Vick all day, the Defense held the Eagles Offense to only 13 1st Downs, and only gave up one Offensive TD (A 1 yard rush by LeSean McCoy).  They also ended the game, with AJ Jefferson intercepting Vick on the Eagles final drive.  That, and an interception from Calais Campbell, accounted for the Cards two interceptions for the day.  On top of that, LB Daryl Washington did his part by recording a team high 8 tackles.

The Time of Possession for the Cardinals was 31:42, vs. 28:18 for the Eagles.  They had 21 1st Downs, 6 punts, and only 2 penalties, which resulted in 66 yards for the Eagles.

Next week, the Cardinals travel to San Fransisco to take on the division rival 49ers.  They will be looking to extend their winning streak to 3 games, and also enact revenge on the 49ers for sweeping them the last few seasons.

And on a side note, Larry Fitzgerald became the Cardinals All-time Touchdown leader with 71 TD's!  Fitz, feel free to extend that number all you want.
