Welcome to the second half gamethread for this matchup between the Cardinals and the 49ers. Thus far, the 49ers lead 9-0, and the Cardinals offense with John Skelton getting the start has been completely inept. Luckilly, the Defense has played well even though they were stuck on the field for most of the half with the Cardinals offense doing nothing.
David Akers has also missed a field goal, and he had two of them blocked by Calais Campbell and Patrick Peterson. The only positive of the half so far.
Lets hope the offense can actually look competent in the second half in what has been a defensive struggle thus far.
