With just a few more weeks left in the 2011 NFL regular season, The Arizona Cardinals are in St. Louis to try and sweep the season series from the Rams. That game will be on TV locally in the Phoenix area. But the rest of the schedule has a few pretty good matchups. The New York Jets try to get on track against the Buffalo Bills. Tim Tebow tries to continue his run against the San Diego Chargers and continue to show that you don't have to be any good to be a winner.
Backup quarterbacks are also the story. John Skelton is likely starting again in place of Kevin Kolb. Vince Young and Tyler Palko will give it a go for the second week in a row. Caleb Hanie and Matt Leinart are starting for the first time, as Matt Schaub is done for the year and Jay Cutler might be.
Here in the Phoenix area, we naturally will get the Cardinals game at 11AM. It will air on FOX. On the call will be Sam Rosen and Chad Pennington.
Running opposite the Cardinals game on CBS will be the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. Marv Albert and Rich Gannon will call the game, as Mark Sanchez and Ryan Fitzpatrick battle to show that they can overcome their recent struggles.
After the morning games are over, Arizona residents get a treat. The Tim Tebow show is being aired here as the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers face off. Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts will be the broadcasters, calling the game for CBS,
The Sunday night game on NBC, as always, will be called by Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth. The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Kansas City Chiefs. Who knows why NBC didn't flex this game out? Tyler Palko must be a bigger draw than I thought. If I were the league, I would have had the Tim Tebow game on.
Not interested in those games? Here is the rest of the TV schedule and where you can find them if you have NFL Sunday Ticket.
