NFL TV Schedule, Week 9: Steelers/Ravens, Packers/Chargers, Tim Tebow in Oakland Most Intriguing Matchups

Week 9 of the 2011 NFL season is here. There are teams battling for the top of their respective divisions, teams trying to stay relevant, teams trying to approach relevancy and perhaps teams hoping to "suck for Luck." But there are a few good matchups set for Sunday that you can find on TV.

In the Arizona area, things start out an hour later than normal, as daylight savings time ends and the rest of the US has turned back their clocks an hour. For the football schedule here, there will be, of course, the Arizona Cardinals and their game against the St. Louis Rams. That game is airing on FOX at 2:15 local time.

The Rams/Cardinals game is the only afternoon game aired here in the Phoenix area.

In the morning, starting at 11 AM MST, the two games being aired are these:

San Fransico 49ers at Washington Redskins, FOX

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills, CBS

The Niners will seek to improve to 7-1 and squeeze the necks of their NFC West opponent a little tighter. Will this be the game that Alex Smith gives away?

The Jets will be seeking their fourth straight win in Buffalo, where the Bills have been playing very well.

If you have NFL Sunday ticket, then you will have a variety of TV game options. Unfortunately, the morning games offer the least intrigue.

In the afternoon, starting at 4 PM EST (2 PM AZT), the games that will be more appealing begin.

The Green Bay Packers face the San Diego Chargers. The New England Patriots face off against the New York Giants. For you fans of Tim Tebow (we all know there are a lot), he and his Broncos will face the Oakland Raiders

These games lead up to the crown jewel of Sunday -- the Sunday Night Football matchup on NBC between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. That will be the game to watch. They hate each other and are good teams within the same division -- the perfect combination for an insanely great rivalry.

If you have NFL Sunday ticket, note the TV schedule for all the games:
