We continue with our picks against the spread for the Week 13 games of the NFL. In the morning, we have Tim Tebow as one of our underdog winners, as well as the Houston Texans. The late games have Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers seeking to continue with their question for a perfect season, the San Francisco 49ers hoping to regroup against a bad St. Louis Rams team after their Thanksgiving night loss. Likewise, the Dallas Cowboys are hoping to win their fifth straight game in Arizona, where they have had a tough time in recent history.
Continue on to see our picks.
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns (+6.5): As almost a touchdown favorite, the Ravens hope to show their dominance of a lesser opponent. They completely demoralized the 49ers in Baltimore, so the issue is whether being on the road will make a difference. It won't. Pick: Ravens, -6.5.
Green Bay Packers at New York Giants (+7.0): After getting their doors blown off against the New Orleans Saints, the Giants get to face the other team better than New Orleans -- the perfect Packers. Does anyone expect a different result, even at home? We don't. Pick: Packers, -7.0.
Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals (+4.5): The Cardinals are another home underdog, where they always play better. It took defensive collapses to lose to Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Now the defense is playing better, even when they have had poor QB play. Kevin Kolb returns and teh Dallas secondary is suspect. Pick: Arizona, +4.5.
St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers (-13.0): The Niners have had an extra three days to stew over their loss and prepare for a team that is truly bad. We would give away at least another touchdown here. Pick: 49ers, -13.0.
Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints (-9.0): The Lions will be without Ndamukong Suh against one of the best offenses in the league. Bad time for Suh to do his foot-stomping and get suspended. They no chance at the Superdome. Pick: Saints, -9.0.
San Diego Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars (+2.5): Oh, joy. Another titillating Monday Night Football matchup. Not really. The Jags defense is solid, but their offense is awful. This is one game that the Chargers can actually win and cover. Pick: Chargers, -2.5.
