NFL Picks Against The Spread, Week 16: Houston Texans And Indianapolis Colts Battle On Thursday Night Football

With only two weeks left in the regular season, there are a ton of teams that have compelling stories. There are 21 teams that are either fighting for a playoff berth or battling for playoff seeding. Add that to the three really bad teams (Colts, Rams, Vikings) who are compelling because of the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

With that set, we begin our Week 16 'expert' picks against the spread. The first matchup is the Thursday night game that features the now one-win Colts and the division champ Texans. Hit the jump to see our pick.

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (+6.0): The Texans will be without star wideout Andre Johnson and the Colts are coming off their first victory of the season. With Dan Orlovsky starting, the Colts have covered each of their last three games. Playing at home, this certainly qualifies for their Super Bowl. We don't expect a Colts win, but it should be close. Pick: Colts, +6.0.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's posts on our picks for the rest of the weekend.
