There are only three late Christmas Eve games in Week 16, but all of them have playoff implications. The San Francisco 49ers are hoping for a first round bye. The Seattle Seahawks are trying to get in the playoffs with help. Dallas and Philadelphia all could win the NFC East. For the Lions, it is win and get in. San Diego is playing very well, but it needs help to get in.
See who we pick against the spread.
San Diego Chargers at Detroit Lions (-2.5): The Lions won a nail-biter against the Raiders. But the Chargers are on fire. They may not get into the playoffs, but they are going to do everything they can do have their end of season run they always have. Pick: Chargers, +2.5.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-2.0): Philly looks a lot like the "Dream Team" they were supposed to be abd face a Dallas team that is vulnerable in the secondary to speed. However, Tony Romo will come through. Pick: Cowboys, -2.0.
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (+2.5): Seattle is playing very well and is playing to stay in the playoff picture. San Franciso is trying to get a first round bye and has the defense to slow down Marshawn Lynch. Despite Seattle's ability to play very well at home, the Niners still have yet to give up a rushing touchdown. Take away Lynch and the Hawks are left with Tarvaris Jackson. Pick: 49ers, -2.5.
We will make our Christmas Day and Monday night picks tomorrow.
