The late game schedule for NFL Week 14 is almost all about playoff spots. Tim Tebow attempts to slay the Bears. The Cardinals try to knock off the 49ers for the first time in three years and the Dallas Cowboys attempt to forget the overtime loss that they could have won were it not for an ill-timed timeout. We are leaning towards most of the favorites against the spread, but to see the details, continue on past the jump.
Chicago Bears at Denver Broncos (-3.5): You can't deny the magic of the Tebow (he is a thing now). The Bears are without Jay Cutler and Matt Forte, but the Broncos might be without Willis McGahee. While the Chicago defense is very good, Tebow has not been turning the ball over and we just don't think that the Bears can produce much offensively. Pick: Broncos, -3.5.
San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals (+4.0): The Niners keep rolling and want to stay on track for the number two playoffs seed. The Cards have won four of five and are playing great defense. With John Skelton starting, Arizona could produce nothing offensively. Kevin Kolb gets his shot. Expect a physical battle. It will be close. Pick: Arizona, +4.0.
Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers (-11.0): Oakland will once again be without Darren McFadden and a few other players. After as close a game as the Packers played last week, but they still dominated the final drive, we can't see the Raiders putting up more of a fight than the Giants did. The good money is still on the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. Pick: Packers, -11.0.
Buffalo Bills at San Diego Chargers (-7.0): Buffalo continues to reel on the road and the Chargers are in Decemer, which means they win. Last week they looked as good as they have all year. Pick: Chargers, -7.0.
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3.5): Both teams are coming off of emotional losses that came on the last play of the game. It is the first of two consecutive games between the two teams. New York stepped up when it had to against the Packers. Dallas fell apart. We think it will happen again. Pick: Giants, +3.5.
St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks (no line): A Monday night game that bettors don't care about. The Rams are awful and the Seattle turns into a pretty good team at home. They are clinging to very faint hopes of the playoffs. Pick: Seahawks, straight up.
Last week against the spread, 10-6. On season: 93-78-3.
