Keeping Larry Fitzgerald could be tough - NFC West Blog - ESPN
The past 13 months have given Larry Fitzgerald plenty to think about heading into the final year of his contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals, Steelers and Keith Butler - NFC West Blog - ESPN
Keith Butler didn't want to say much, at least initially, about his prospects as a candidate to become the Arizona Cardinals' defensive coordinator. "I'm Sergeant Schultz -- I know nothing," the Pittsburgh Steelers' linebackers coach joked during Super Bowl media day Tuesday.
azcentral.com blogs - Kent Somers - Finding a pass rusher
One of the Cardinals' unfulfilled goals the last four years has been to develop young outside linebackers who can rush the passer. Injuries have played a part, as have mistakes in the draft (Cody Brown). Making a transition from a college defensive end to an NFL outside linebacker is not easy. Steelers linebackers coach Keith Butler provided some insight on that at media day on Tuesday.
Arizona Cardinals' next coordinator could be at Super Bowl
Good thing the NFL held Super Bowl XLV media day at Cowboys Stadium on Tuesday. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to twirl a Terrible Towel or don a Cheesehead without hitting a candidate for the Cardinals' vacant defensive coordinator's job.
Props for Fitz, Feely, Campbell — and Warner’s place
Profootballfocus.com — a site that breaks down statistics (like footballoutsiders.com) to try and get some perspective on players and teams — put together an all-NFC West team. Only three Cardinals were chosen: wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, defensive end Calais Campbell and kicker Jay Feely. (It’s not to be confused with Sando’s all-NFC West team, where he had Fitz and guard Deuce Lutui on offense, safety Adrian Wilson on defense, and Feely as his kicker). The most interesting part on the PFF article was the note that only 55.38 percent of the passes thrown to Fitzgerald (who had 90 receptions) were even rated as catchable (This is where I insert a *smh*).

Patrick Marleau provided a fitting ending to a night that began with a pregame ceremony honoring his 1,000th career game last month.

Espo: What The Bachelor can teach us about the Arizona Cardinals - ArizonaSports.com
Monday nights in my house have gone from a night of football and sarcastic comedies to something slightly less manly. When I say slightly less manly, I mean a complete man card violation. I've found myself relegated to sitting on the couch while Mrs. Espo watches The Bachelor. As much as I act like I hate it and file protests to the household commissioner, who also happens to be Mrs. Espo, I have a confession: it's actually a semi-enjoyable show. By enjoyable I mean, it has an element of sport to it, like the NFL games that have so cruelly left me with this reality TV, that leaves me yelling at the television more than the Arizona Cardinals did this fall.
