Fitzgerald avoids "future" talk
Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald just did an interview with Mike Jurecki and Dan Bickley on XTRA 910 out at the Super Bowl. Since it’s a local show — and both have long-standing relationships with Fitz — who better than to ask him about both his contract situation and his future with the Cardinals? Yeah, exactly. Fitz was having none of it.
Breaston philosophical about contract situation
This is Steve Breaston’s down time, so he’s doing what he does — writing (almost always not about football), getting lost in the new video game DC Universe, and Wednesday, visiting comic giant Todd McFarlane and possibly getting a chance to write a chapter for one of McFarlane’s books. What the wide receiver is not doing is pondering his impending free-agent status — much.
Grass greener, or at least better, in Arizona - NFC West Blog - ESPN

azcentral.com blogs - Kent Somers - Catching up with Warner
Former quarterback Kurt Warner (and, boy, does that first word continue to haunt Cardinals fans) worked his way through radio row today at the Super Bowl media center. I caught up with Kurt for a few minutes to get his thoughts on attacking the defenses of the Super Bowl teams: Green Bay and Pittsburgh. Warner faced both in the final two seasons of his career. Both teams run the 3-4, but offenses shouldn't attack them exactly the same way, he said.

Players say Cards’ field the best
Every two years, the NFL Players Association has their rank-and-file do a survey on the best and worst fields in the NFL. For a second straight time, the field at University of Phoenix Stadium was ranked the best grass surface in the league (and, since grass is usually accepted as a better surface than turf, I think it’s fair to say that means UoP is the best surface in the NFL period. Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy was voted the best artificial turf).
Warner: Roethlisberger not deserving of Hall of Fame spot yet - ArizonaSports.com
Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner said Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not have done enough to be inducted into the Hall of Fame even if he wins a third Super Bowl this Sunday. Warner was asked on Sports 620 KTAR's Gambo and Ash show if he thought Roethlisberger belonged in the Hall of Fame. Not yet, according to Warner.
Whisenhunt ready to watch Super Bowl as a spectator - ArizonaSports.com
Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt spoke at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and discussed his thoughts on the Super Bowl, two years removed from Arizona's appearance in the big game. Whisenhunt complimented both the Packers and Steelers, saying he thought the game could come down the final minutes.
Arizona Has The Best Grass In The NFL - Desert Dirt - SB Nation Arizona
Despite the Arizona Cardinals (losing) bid to prevent grass from being used to help sick people, they have managed to grow some pretty sick green. And don't think NFL players don't know the difference between great grass and ditch weed. They know grass. It's their life you might even say.
