We all are aware that experts like Mel Kiper, Todd MacShay, Mike Mayock and others like to make their projections about the draft. In the 2011 NFL Draft, we want here at ROTB to have a fan perspective. For this reason, we are starting a community mock draft. It will run simultaneously with a writers' mock draft.
Starting next Monday, we will project the draft from pick number one to pick number 32. Each day will be a new pick. One of you and one of us (the writers) will project the pick, give some basic info of the player and explain why the team selects him at that point.
To do this, we need you all to sign up for a pick. In the comments section choose the team you would like to draft for. The only real fair way to do this is to go by comment order. If you are the first to claim a team, it is yours. Pick only one team for now. Keep in mind that we will need 32 of you. If there are holes after today, I will repost to fill them so then at that point you may select a second team if you like. Once we get it filled, I will make deadlines and starting next week we will have the draft begin. We can see how different the writers and the community are in their projections.
