Everyone loves mock drafts. I know, for one, that I look up every single one I can months before the draft just to get an idea as to how things might turn out for the Cardinals and other teams and players. Plus, I get some insight as to who all is out there because, as much as I love college football, I mostly watch ASU and Pac-10 games. I just don't have the time to watch hours of game film other than the games I choose to watch.
This is why Mel Kiper, Mike Mayock and Todd MacShay are all so popular. So, in light of this, we want to give you the chance to make a mock draft so that we can compare it with what actually happens next month.
Starting next Monday, we will "put you on the clock" one by one, one pick per day. We have the writers' assignments. We have some of the community GM spots filled. Once filled, when the draft comes, we will go for 32 days. When you are "on the clock," you will have until the evening before your pick to send me (email here). You should send some info about the player and a brief explanation of why that team will select the player. We will compare your pick with our pick.
Pay attention to the previous picks because you obviously cannot select a player that has been already drafted. Sign up in the comments for one of the remaining spots. We want to get them all filled. If you have a pick already, since we are on a new day, you may choose another team/pick. But only one for today.
