NFL Mock Draft: Baltimore Ravens Pick 26th

We now have the Baltimore Ravens and their first round selection in the ROTB mock draft. Despite their season, they still have some needs. They have older receivers, are not getting younger on defense and an offensive line that could use some upgrades.

For the community, Billydacardsfan makes the selection and Cardsfan08 does so on behalf of the writers.

The Atlanta Falcons are no on the clock. Kj197728 and RedBirdRevival are set to make that selection. Email RedBirdRevival with the pick (I will be away for the evening) and make sure that your choice was not previously selected. Let us know what you think of the picks.

Billydacardsfan:

Titus Young, WR, Boise State

The 2010 Ravens passing game had 2 solid possession receivers in Derrick Mason and our former favorite Card, Anquan Boldin. Neither could stretch the field near enough for Flacco's big arm, allowing defenses to play closer to the line of scrimmage without any fear. Titus Young will allow Joe Flacco to stretch the field, ala Desean Jackson in Philly. Although there is an obvious need for a left tackle with Michael Oher's struggles in 2010 (he would be better suited to the right side), Young will give the Ravens the deep threat they desperately need.

Me:

Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA

The Baltimore Ravens took Rahim Moore because the need for a quality FS and SS when Ed Reed retires is glaringly apparent. The 2011 draft is weak in safety talent, and Rahim's skill set sets him make him a candidate for top safety in the class. Moore has good size 6'0" 202lbs and was known as a ballhawk in college. Something the Ravens have grown accustomed to having in the backfield with Reed. He has a quick burst to close the gap with a receiver while the ball is in the air and good hands to take the ball away more often then deflecting it. Many think he will be an immediate starter in a FS position, but he may transition to SS with time.
