When a group of NFL players sued the NFL for locking them out, Judge Nelson heard both sides and then said she would rule in a couple of weeks. She ordered mediation and that went on for a week before adjourning until May 16. Now reports have come out saying that Judge Nelson is expected to make her ruling on Monday.

With the ruling, the situation could go a few different directions, depending on what the ruling is and what could happen afterward.

Most people believe that she will rule to lift the lockout. If she does, that could open a free agent and trade frenzy the week of the draft.

She could also rule in favor of the players, ending the lockout, but could order a stay of the lockout, meaning that nothing changes, allowing the NFL to appeal the ruling and wait for that decision.

She could also rule in favor of the league. That seems unlikely, but it would mean that the owners have the leverage to continue locking out the players and wait until they decide to make a deal that the owners are okay with.

If you had to make the decision, which would you choose?
