2011 NFL Mock Draft Grades: ROTB Community Not Very Accurate

If you recall, a couple of days before the draft, our mock draft skills were put to the test. I asked you to predict the first 10 picks of the 2011 NFL Draft and that a draft expert certificate was in order for anyone who could corectly the first ten picks, regardless of the team that selected them, thus eliminating the trade factor.

Sadly, not a single responder correctly picked all ten selection. I am sure part of that is due to the fact that the San Francisco 49ers went with Aldon Smith at number seven. Nobody predicted that.

There were two members that were the most accurate, but their picks come with an asterisk. Nick Thoreson had seven correct selections, but only after he had made predictions before and then, the morning of the draft changed a few based on new information that had come out.

Likewise, new member rootsports (not related to yours truly) made alterations to his original predictions. His forst set had two correct picks and his revisions had five. So, these two people win with an asterisk.

As for the "real" entries, four members had four correct selections. RedBirdRevival, tallfreak, Nick Thoreson (1st version) and The12thCard (who nailed Jake Locker going to the Titans, I might add) were those with four.

Among the funniest things, khodder was so certain of his selections that he "put them down in black ink." He had only one correct selection.

Skii said he should bet money on his selections. He also correctly picked...one. I hope he didn't wager anything.

AlaskanCard told everyone to just go home. He picked two right.

Yours truly? I had two right. I had Cam Newton number one and Patrick Peterson to the Cards correct.

I think it is safe to say that we are not draft experts.
