5-9-11: Bird Droppings - Kolb Trade, A-Dub And The Top 100

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Time to start off another week with some links. Not really a lot to post today, I have the video of A-Dub in the NFL Network top 100 list and the thing about Calais Campbell wanting to be a comedy writer along with someone asking Sando about trading PP7 to Philly for Kolb (Which is a stupid idea in my opinion). After that, not much else. For the ASU fans there is a thing about Lawrence Guy in here.

And continuing with the rotation of QB pictures, we are really scraping the bottom of the barrel today with Brian St. Pierre. The Cardinals have been linked to everyone else already, why not him?

Arizona Diamondbacks fall to Padres, Cantu in San Diego
the pitch to the Padres' Jorge Cantu in the first inning was up and inside could not be disputed. Neither could the fact that it wound up devastating the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon. But where it was supposed to go and whether it was a mistake, those were viewpoints still being sorted out inside the visitors' clubhouse in the aftermath of the Padres' 4-3 win at Petco Park, an outcome that sent the Diamondbacks to their first series loss since the last time they ventured out on the road.

DT Guy goes from special ed to NFL - NFL - Yahoo! Sports
Lawrence Guy is smart. You know this because in the spring semester of last year he got a GPA of nearly 3.5 in his classes at Arizona State, which allowed Guy, then a defensive tackle on the football team, to wear a patch on his jersey distinguishing him as one of the school’s "Scholar Ballers." You know this too because when he grows comfortable with someone and his shyness falls away, the words spill out in torrents and his eyes shine bright. And then you see why his former football position coach, a grizzled-sounding man now working in the NFL, calls him "a great kid." And why the academic counselor and learning coach for the ASU football, a warm, motherly kind of woman, smiles at him and always says: "They broke the mold when they made you."

The Los Angeles Lakers sweep should be wake up call for Phoenix Suns - ArizonaSports.com
For only the second time in the last twelve seasons the NBA's Western Conference Finals won't include the San Antonio Spurs or Los Angeles Lakers. The Spurs lost in the first round to the eighth seeded Memphis Grizzlies. The Lakers got swept in the second round by the Dallas Mavericks and got beat by 34-points in the final game of the series. I should be happy. Heck, jubilant. Yet somehow I'm not.
