azcentral.com blogs - Kent Somers - Burress, Pryor not expected to land in Arizona
I expect the Cardinals' level of interest in acquiring receiver Plaxico Burress or quarterback/receiver/whatever Terrelle Pryor is almost zero with little chance of rising.
Word From the Birds Blog - Beanie: "I’m definitely not striking out"
Running back Beanie Wells was on "The Chuck and Vince Live" show this morning on The Fan AM 1060, and while he’s obviously going to portray confidence, he also made it clear he understands his opportunities to show something — at least in Arizona — are probably dwindling.
Fitz works out with Kyle Orton but don't read into it - ArizonaSports.com
The old saying is, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. That's why on Thursday when Larry Fitzgerald tweeted out, with photographic proof, that he and Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton were working out together in Minnesota, we didn't read too much into it.

Kurt Warner thinks Marc Bulger may not want to be a starter | ProFootballTalk
In a recent Thursday interview with KTAR radio’s Doug and Wolf show, former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner talked about the man who once upon a time replaced Warner as the starting quarterback in St. Louis. Beanie Wells surprised the Cardinals took a running back | ProFootballTalk
When the Cardinals drafted running back Ryan Williams in the second round in April, it sent a strong message to Beanie Wells. Diamondbacks fall further behind Giants in NL West
The ball shot off Chris Young's bat and into the corner in left field, and Diamondbacks third-base coach Matt Williams was thinking about what it was going to take for Kelly Johnson not to score on the play. The variables ran quickly through Williams' head: Two outs. A runner who moves well. The left fielder would have to pick up it up cleanly, quickly, then hit the cutoff man, and he, in turn, would have to make another good throw home. It added up to a gamble worth taking, but it ended with an rally-killing out at the plate, squelching the Diamondbacks' best chance to tie what turned out to be a 5-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants at Chase Field on Wednesday night.
Amar'e Stoudemire: Phoenix Suns could have won NBA championship if he stayed another year
Amar'e Stoudemire was playing the game that everyone has been playing in Phoenix ever since he left town nearly a year ago -- what if? What if Stoudemire had remained with the Suns, either through taking a lesser contract offer with Phoenix or by the Suns increasing their offer to avoid his departure to New York. Stoudemire was making a full day of marketing appearances Wednesday for Excedrin when he stopped in Manhattan and was asked what he thought about the Dallas Mavericks' championship. The answer might have a Suns fan looking for an Excedrin.
ESPN ranks Coyotes as best franchise in Arizona - ArizonaSports.com
No owner? No problem. At least that's how it looks for the Phoenix Coyotes in ESPN the Magazine's eyes. As part of the publication's annual ranking of all 122 professional sports franchise in North America, the Coyotes finished 28th overall. Despite losing millions last season and a myriad off the ice issues, they were the highest among any Arizona team. The Diamondbacks weren't far behind at No. 33 with the Arizona Cardinals (No. 71) and the Phoenix Suns (No. 80) bringing up the rear.
