Happy Father's Day From Revenge Of The Birds

No this is not exactly about football, but it is about men -- and, in general, men love football. Today is Father's Day (you probably know that) and I want to take the opportunity to congratulate you fathers out there who are being good fathers for their kids and also to those who fall short but try as hard as they can.

We have some very proud fathers out there among our Arizona Cardinals. Beanie Wells, Darnell Dockett and Adrian Wilson have been public about their dealings with their kids and I know that many others do a great job without the public mention. It is also good to know (at least it is not yet known) that there is no Antonio Cromartie on our team when it comes to being a dad.

I am blessed to have a wonderful father who has done so much for me. He won't probably read this because he is not an avid follower of sports, but I want to say how much I love him anyway. He does, though, read some of my work. I hope to be a small percentage of the father he has been and if I can do that I know I will be okay.

So to all of you dads out there in the community -- THANKS! For those of you whose fathers are still around, make sure they know how you feel about them.

Now, as one piece of advice to the dads and future dads -- make sure to encourage a love of all things related to the Arizona Cardinals. And teach them to read Revenge of the Birds. (OK, that last one is just a plug for the site).

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

And now a video that says what we think of the dads! (You're All-Stars)
