Getting this up a little bit earlier than I normally do today because I am a big video game nerd and I want to watch some of the E3 stuff today and during the rest of this week on TV. For today, this is a shorter batch of links with an opinion piece on Anderson's rant, and another post about how Orton could come to Arizona.
Also, quick programming note. I'm going to introduce a new weekly thing for this site later today, it is something we have talked about before on here and you guys will probably enjoy it.
Cardinals News:Will Orton be in the mix for Cards post-lockout? | National Football Post

Arizona Diamondbacks rally to tie in 9th but lose in 11 to Washington Nationals
Resiliency likely will be the word that eventually defines the Diamondbacks season. Even when they come up short, which they did Sunday, the Diamondbacks frequently play their best when all seems lost, a trait that could play a key role as the season moves along. The Diamondbacks staged a ninth-inning rally before a close call at first base kept a Nationals surge going in the 11th inning, losing 9-4 in front of 23,129 at Chase Field. The loss dropped them a half-game behind the San Francisco Giants in the National League West.

Mandy Urfer was a nervous wreck here four years ago. Now she is a cool cat with a chance to play for another title. Urfer hit a two-run home run to catapult Arizona State to a 4-0 win over Baylor on Sunday at the Women's College World Series. Now Urfer and the Sun Devils will play for a chance to win their second national title in the past four years. ASU won the 2008 championship.

Coaches who disavow NFLCA brief could have locker-room issues | ProFootballTalk
With coaching staffs from 15 teams and counting making known their disagreement with the "friend of the court" brief filed last month by the NFL Coaches Association, the next wave in the development of this story arises from the players’ reaction to the news that their coaches are picking a side other than the players’ side.
